Beth Morton is a critically acclaimed, award-nominated director and theatre maker working primarily with new writing and musical theatre across Scotland and the UK.

About

Beth served as interim Artistic Director at Mull Theatre in 2020/21 and later Associate Director. Her collaborations include work with Tron Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Manchester Royal Exchange and the National Theatre of Scotland.

Recent directing highlights include Nessie (Pitlochry Festival Theatre & Capital Theatres), Catafalque (Scissor Kick), and pantomimes at Beacon Arts Centre. She also led the digital season Strange Rocks & Undocumented, the animation series Braw Tales (Mull Theatre), and short film Cailleach (Mull Theatre / Sonder Circus).

Beth makes work that is exciting, conceptual and engaging, with strong storytelling and meaningful audience connection at its heart.
